About the Role

The Global Market Intelligence Analyst will provide critical competitive sales assets for the Corporate Competitive Intelligence team, focusing on actionable competitive and market intelligence-based deliverables to support sales and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep, data-driven analyses of competitors, including their strategies, product offerings, pricing models, and market positioning.
  • Report on key market movements, trends, implications, and shifts that impact stakeholders.
  • Create and deliver Battlecards, Competitive briefs, SWOT analyses, and Rebuttals to enable and empower the global sales organization.
  • Leverage AI to accelerate content development for secondary research while maintaining output integrity.
  • Conduct ad hoc primary research to support competitive intelligence for strategy, sales, and marketing initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of CI best practices, frameworks, and standards across the organization.
  • Maintain high-quality standards for CI outputs, ensuring rigor, accuracy, and alignment with senior-leader expectations.
  • Systematically capture and reflect feedback from sales, tech sales, partners, and customer engagements in CI outputs.
  • Participate in maintaining operational effectiveness (dashboards, posts, newsletters, presentations, etc.).
  • Work with the CI team to raise engagement levels of the larger 3DS intelligence community.
  • Maintain high ethical standards in competitive intelligence practices.

Requirements

  • MS in Engineering, Engineering Management, or similar with an additional 1 year of experience in enterprise software companies, or BS in Engineering, Engineering Management, or similar with 5 years of experience in enterprise software companies.
  • Background in enterprise software, industrial technology, or engineering-led products.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with an emphasis on structured, fact-based communications.
  • Logical and analytical thinking.
  • Self-motivated and self-driven to complete routine tasks without supervision.

Preferred Skills

  • 3DEXPERIENCE dashboard, widget, and best practices expertise.
  • Experience supporting global sales organizations.

Pay

The total expected compensation range for this role is between $90,000 and $125,000, representing base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
