The Global Insurance & Risk Management Analyst will handle the day-to-day administration of the risk management and insurance program, including managing certificates of insurance, confirming coverage for special events, and updating values/exposures for global insurance renewals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Under Armour’s insurance policy library, including all policies and endorsements in hard copy and electronic format.
  • Maintain and update schedules for property TIVs, company autos, and retail locations.
  • Process all certificates of insurance requests and manage Under Armour’s certificates of insurance.
  • Review COIs for compliance with Under Armour standards for manufacturers and key contracts/partnerships.
  • Analyze, review, and advise on insurance requirements for various contracts.
  • Build internal relationships to ensure the insurance program aligns with company operations.
  • Coordinate local policy issuance, invoicing, and compliance obligations with global insurers and local offices.
  • Ensure accurate premium tax payments and evaluate regulatory requirements in new global jurisdictions.
  • Act as the primary liaison for day-to-day insurance operations with global offices and retail locations.
  • Maintain global insurance playbooks and assist in global renewals.
  • Manage the administrative payment function for invoicing and aid in managing the global insurance budget.
  • Develop internal resources and conduct trainings on insurance and risk management topics.
  • Lead risk management information system (RMIS) administration and drive system evolution.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all insurance lines, court decisions impacting claims, and policy changes.
  • Prepare underwriting submissions for global insurance renewals.

Qualifications

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required; intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills within a team setting.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience with general working knowledge of commercial property and liability insurance, standard endorsements, and contract risk assessment.
  • ARM, CPCU, RIMS-CRMP, or other related certifications are a plus.

Schedule

This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week. The individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore, MD office.

Pay

Base compensation: $60,000.00–$80,000.00 USD. Most new hires fall within this range, with initial placement based on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
