About the role

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Emergency Medicine, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to join their fellowship program. The department offers a one-year Emergency Medicine Global Health Fellowship.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain skills in public health/epidemiology, tropical medicine clinical skills, global health research, cross-cultural education, and emergency systems program development.
  • Involvement in global health projects aimed at improving skills necessary for a career in global health.
  • Expected to spend three months on global exposure during the fellowship year.

Requirements

The fellowship requires a Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician. Active resident involvement in international electives is also a requirement.

Qualifications

Preference is given to candidates with experience in public health/epidemiology, tropical medicine, and cross-cultural education.

Skills

Skills in public health/epidemiology, tropical medicine clinical skills, global health research, cross-cultural education, and emergency systems program development are highly valued.

Pay

Starting base compensation ranges from $203,000 to $213,000. Variable compensation and extra productivity are subject to the department compensation plan.

Schedule

Fellows will work a standard schedule consistent with the needs of the department.
