Global Head of Procurement

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Global Head of Procurement to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will shape and scale a global procurement function across a growing SaaS environment. The leader will establish operating models, strengthen supplier and vendor management, and help build procurement processes that support compliance, resilience, and growth. This position partners closely with cross-functional leaders to improve spend discipline, contract outcomes, and procurement technology adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of global procurement strategies for a SaaS environment
• Build and implement a global procurement operating model across different geographies
• Use an AI-first approach to enhance procurement processes and vendor risk frameworks
• Optimize relationships with key suppliers and software vendors while managing contract negotiations
• Oversee the implementation and integration of procurement software solutions with current systems
• Transform the Travel & Expense function, enhancing policy governance and software solutions
• Manage the procurement lifecycle from requisition to supplier management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field; MBA or certifications such as CPM or CPSM are a plus
• 12+ years of progressive procurement leadership experience, including 3-5 years in a senior role within SaaS or technology
• Proven track record of managing global procurement strategies and supplier relationships across regions
• Demonstrated success in high-growth SaaS environments, driving organizations toward IPO and SOX readiness
• Deep understanding of procurement technology and spend-management systems, including platforms like Tipalti and NetSuite
• Extensive experience managing global Travel & Expense programs
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strong history of aligning cross-functional leaders

Pay

$160,000 – $200,000 annually
