Global ERP Operations Lead, SAP Platform

For our client, we are seeking a Global ERP Operations Lead, SAP Platform to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This leader will oversee global ERP operations across a complex, enterprise SAP environment supporting business continuity and service reliability at scale. The role focuses on operational excellence, resilient system performance, and continuous improvement across a multinational landscape. You will partner closely with technology, security, and business stakeholders to strengthen governance, automation, and service delivery outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $167,720 – $226,915 annually Responsibilities Lead global ERP operations for SAP S/4HANA, ensuring high availability Drive operational excellence through effective monitoring and incident management Establish AI-enabled ERP operations to enhance system resilience and issue resolution Define and manage KPIs and SLAs for reliable ERP service delivery Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, GxP, SOX, and GDPR regulations Strengthen access management and security processes Identify automation and modernization opportunities across ERP operations Utilize operational metrics to improve system resilience and cost efficiency Lead and develop a global team of resources and partners Qualifications Doctorate degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 4 years, or Bachelor's degree and 6 years, or Associate's degree and 10 years, or high school diploma/GED and 12 years of experience Around 10 years of experience in enterprise or consultancy firms Proven track record leading ERP operations in large, global organizations Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and RISE with SAP, as well as non-SAP environments Strong experience managing complex system integrations and enterprise-scale SAP landscapes Experience with automation and operational optimization initiatives within ERP platforms Solid understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure and enterprise service management tools such as ServiceNow Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Generous retirement and savings plan contributions Discretionary annual bonus program or sales-based incentive for certain roles Stock-based long-term incentives Award-winning time-off plans to support work-life balance Flexible work models where applicable Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
