About the role

Rippling provides businesses with a unified platform to manage HR, IT, and Finance. It consolidates various workforce systems into a single system, allowing for seamless management and automation of the entire employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Own Global Compliance & Operations: Lead end-to-end operational execution for various equity instruments including stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), phantom equity, token compensation, M&A cash consideration, and secondary sales.

  • Manage Global Filings: Work closely with local tax advisors and payroll providers to manage filing calendars such as UK ERS, Ireland RSS1, Australia ESS, and Singapore IR8A.

  • Translate Complex Tax Advice: Convert intricate international tax and legal guidance into scalable operational workflows.

  • Serve as Executive Client Advisor: Provide expert advice to clients issuing equity to EOR workers, ensuring compliance and clarity on tax obligations, filing boundaries, and EOR-specific mechanics.

  • Build Client Documentation: Develop clear, comprehensive client documentation, help guides, and enablement materials.

  • Drive Product & Automation: Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define data requirements, validation rules, and automated workflows to streamline equity processes within Rippling's platform.

  • Accelerate Growth & Build a Team: Participate in sales and account management calls to support deal closures, lead a dedicated team of Equity Operations Specialists, and mentor high-performing specialists.

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on experience in equity compensation administration, global tax compliance, or equity advisory. Deep expertise in at least two international jurisdictions, including experience with filing equity compliance in at least one key country (e.g., UK ERS, Ireland RSS1, Australia ESS, Singapore IR8A). Cross-functional fluency, ability to communicate effectively with Legal/Tax advisors, Product Managers, Sales reps, and C-suite clients. Builder mindset and leadership skills, with a willingness to handle ambiguity, rapid growth, and leveraging technology to automate processes.

Qualifications

Must have a Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation or equivalent experience. Prior experience in the Employer of Record (EOR) or global payroll industry is a plus. Hands-on experience with equity management platforms and supporting pre-sales or GTM efforts for complex compliance/HR services is beneficial.

Skills

Strong understanding of stock options and RSU tax laws and regulations. Proficiency in navigating global tax and compliance landscapes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt to rapid growth and evolving business needs.

Pay

The salary range for this role is between $145,000 CAD and $185,000 CAD (CA) and $150,000 USD to $225,000 USD (US San Francisco Bay Area).
