Global Director of Communications and Marketing

About the role

Join a high-impact leadership role that will lead and execute a strategic communications and engagement agenda that strengthens Sodexo’s positioning, drives internal alignment, and enhances client perception through proactive storytelling, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement. Provides strategic vision and direction, leading organization or its business function. Oversees area of responsibility, directing the responsibilities of employees. Holds management accountability for a business, division, major geography, corporate function or major corporate sub-function. Develops, establishes and approves long-term vision and strategy for the area managed. Goal achievement is typically accomplished through performance of direct and / or indirect reports. The scope of responsibility includes the entire organization and / or selected line of business / business entity.

Responsibilities

• Align all communications with account priorities, growth objectives, and client expectations
• Create and deliver a structured internal communications plan
• Support leadership with clear narratives, talking points, and updates
• Design and execute engagement campaigns aligned to key themes (e.g., innovation, sustainability, workplace experience)
• Ensure consistent and compelling storytelling across all channels

• Skill in cultivating executive-level client relationships and translating customer insights into strategies that guide internal innovation.
• Communication, influence, and negotiation strengths that align cross-functional teams and stakeholders around shared objectives.

Requirements

• Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Management Experience: 10 years
• Related Experience: 10 years

Pay

• Pay Range: $171870 per year - $222420 per year
• Incentive Eligibility: Eligible to participate in Sodexo's incentive plan and earn variable compensation in addition to base salary
