Global Director of Brand & Communications (Austin/US Remote)
About the role
LumApps is seeking a strategic, high-energy Global Director of Brand & Communications to lead, shape, and scale the LumApps brand worldwide. In this global leadership role, you will define our international market positioning, visual and verbal identity, global PR/media strategy, analyst relations (AR), and C-suite communications. You will act as the architect of our global narrative while ensuring localized relevance across key international markets (North America, Europe, and APAC). Leading a distributed team of brand strategists, writers, PR agencies, and creative talent across multiple time zones, you will establish LumApps as the recognized global leader in its category.
Responsibilities
- Brand Awareness & Market Category Leadership
- Drive Global Brand Awareness: Design and execute high-impact, multi-channel global campaigns aimed at dramatically boosting brand recall, organic search visibility, and top-of-funnel consideration among enterprise buyers worldwide.
- Category Ownership: Position LumApps as the definitive market leader and thought authority in Employee Experience (EX) and Digital Workplace solutions through high-profile media, strategic sponsorships, and industry partnerships.
- Brand Equity & Measurement: Establish framework and metrics to track global brand awareness growth, regional sentiment, brand affinity, and overall market awareness against key enterprise competitors.
- Global Brand Strategy, Positioning & Governance
- Worldwide Brand Architecture: Own and evolve the LumApps global brand identity, value propositions, and overarching platform narrative across all regions.
- Global Creative Governance: Oversee our global design system, tone of voice, brand guidelines, and creative execution across digital, field events, and multimedia assets globally.
- Cross-Regional Brand Alignment: Serve as the global brand steward, ensuring seamless alignment and brand consistency across international sales teams, regional demand generation programs, and product UI/UX.
- International PR, Media Relations & Industry Analysis
- Global PR Strategy: Formulate and drive earned media strategies across key global tech hubs, managing localized PR agencies in North America, EMEA, and APAC to maximize global share of voice (SOV).
- Global Analyst Relations (AR): Partner with Product Marketing and Executive Leadership to drive engagement with major global industry analyst firms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC), securing top-tier positioning in worldwide market reports.
- Corporate & Financial Communications: Direct global corporate announcements, strategic partnership releases, product innovations, and international crisis communications management.
- Executive Communications & Global Thought Leadership
- C-Suite Platform Management: Craft global keynotes, op-eds, media talking points, and conference presentations for LumApps’ executive leadership team on major global stages.
- International Employer Brand: Partner with Global HR and People Ops to project a unified employer brand that attracts top-tier global tech talent across all international offices and remote hubs.
- Global Agency Leadership
- Agency Management: Direct international agency networks (PR, Brand, Production) and optimize global communications budgets to maximize return on investment.
Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years leading brand strategy and corporate communications in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or top-tier global agencies, with direct experience supporting global go-to-market strategies.
- Global Track Record: Proven success scaling brand awareness across international markets (specifically North America, Europe, and expansion markets like APAC), navigating cross-cultural communication nuances, and managing multi-region PR campaigns.
- Communications Mastery: Strong background in global media relations, analyst relations (Gartner Magic Quadrants, Forrester Waves), executive comms, and international reputation management.
- Cross-Border Leadership: 4+ years of experience managing distributed international teams, time-zone logistics, and global agency rosters.
- Storytelling Expertise: Flawless written and executive-level editorial skills, with the ability to build high-concept narratives that resonate across diverse enterprise markets.
