Global Credit Ops- Trade Finance Services Specialist II

Responsibilities

• Processes transactions related to various Trade Finance products and performs support and servicing functions, such as problem resolution and exception handling for clients and business partners
• Communicates complex data and information clearly and effectively to clients and business partners
• Processes a variety of technical and analytical functions related to trade financing and servicing including researching, analyzing, auditing, tracing, and resolving Trade Finance documents that require specialized, sensitive, or exception handling
• Manages risk by ensuring transactions are handled efficiently and proactively, identifying and escalating potential risks
• Develops capabilities and competencies through self-study or participation in trainings on system enhancements
• Evaluates issuances, amendments, and negotiations for export letter of credit payment requests
• Provides client servicing for both Export Letter of Credit clients
• Provides client servicing and operational support for extended processing teams/sites
• Prepares and reconciles daily and monthly reports; accurate capturing of production volumes

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of financial services/financial products experience
• Demonstrated excellent communication both written and oral
• Must have prior/current Client servicing experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Able to work in a team environment as well as independently with little supervision
• Proficient active listening skills
