Global Close & Consolidation
Own the end-to-end monthly close across the US parent and international subsidiaries (Uruguay, Argentina, Mexico, and Nepal), including consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and multi-currency revaluation.
Internal Controls
Design and operate scalable controls across the sales-to-cash and procure-to-pay cycles, balancing rigor with the agility a high-growth company needs.
Intercompany & Transfer Pricing
Maintain intercompany billing, financing, and cost-allocation flows in line with our transfer pricing framework, partnering with external advisors across jurisdictions.
Audit, Tax & Compliance
Manage external audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance across entities in partnership with third-party providers in each country.
Cash & Treasury
Support cash flow reporting, FX exposure, and working capital management across currencies and banking relationships.
Financial Planning & Forecasting
Lead long-term business planning, annual budgeting, and rolling forecasts in alignment with corporate goals.
Team & Partner Management
Manage and develop our Accounting Manager based in Uruguay, and direct the third-party accounting partners who support statutory, tax, and payroll work across our entities.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of progressive accounting leadership, with recent experience owning the close and consolidation for a multi-entity organization.
- Credential: Active US CPA.
- Industry: Hands-on accounting experience in a professional services or technology consulting business.
- Multi-Entity Depth: Demonstrated experience consolidating multiple legal entities, including intercompany transactions and multi-currency reporting.
- Technical Accounting: Deep command of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Audit & Tax: Proven track record managing external audits and coordinating tax compliance across entities.
- People & Vendor Management: Experience managing accounting staff and directing third-party providers or outsourced accounting partners.
- Builder's Mindset: A track record of standing up or materially improving accounting processes, not just maintaining them.
- Communication: Clear, plain communicator who makes finance accessible and actionable to non-finance stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- LATAM Operations: Direct experience with Latin American entities, ideally Uruguay, Argentina, or Mexico, including local statutory, payroll, and tax considerations.
- Transfer Pricing: Familiarity with transfer pricing documentation and intercompany financing structures across borders.
- Language: Professional Spanish proficiency.
- ERP Implementation: Experience leading or supporting an ERP migration in a scaling company.
- M&A: Working knowledge of purchase price allocation and acquisition integration.
- Team Leadership: Experience building and managing accounting teams across multiple countries.
