Responsibilities
- Work as contractual subject matter expert to ensure specified contract redlines are approved by all necessary parties with complying with business, operational and regulatory requirements.
- Manage all standard agreements and documentation requirements and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all company contracts prior to finalization.
- Aid sales and procurement with assembly of all necessary documentation to meet requirements of specialized services.
- Supports client negotiations and works as the liaison between sales/procurement, global operations and legal.
- Represents First Advantage (with legal) on client/vendor calls.
- Drafts routine contract language within given parameters and manage SLA requirements.
- Conduct contractual document administration, maintenance and renewal reminder according to contract management database requirements.
- Deliver contract management related knowledge and refresher sessions.
- Support in company or strategic projects from contract management perspective.
- Support corporate in-house counsel.
- Responsible for the development and provides direct supervision to entry level professional individual contributors (e.g., Administrative Assistant or Associate Accountant).
- Collaborate with other business groups in First Advantage to business performance.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a matrix environment pulling together input from multiple stakeholders and SME’s under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work under multiple deadlines while demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and a commitment to accuracy and complete deliverables.
- Working knowledge of contract terms and conditions, proficient understanding of contract management principles and guidelines.
- Soft skillsets required: analytical skills with a high attention to detail, negotiation and stakeholder/customer management.
- Exceptional written (i.e. grammatical and proofreading) and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with standard Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience working with CRM tools and other data management applications (e.g. Siebel).
- Requires good interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with management, peers, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Degree holder in Business Administration or a comparable discipline, Paralegal Certification or above is a plus.
- Three to five years of corporate contracting experience, with at least two years specifically involving sales of service. Specifically, experience in contract management, process management or equivalent function with proven skillsets in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining a variety of contractual agreements (including but not limited to: MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, SLAs).
- Experience in multinational company work interaction / international cultural and work environment.
