Job Summary
We are seeking a Global Commodity Manager with professional services/hardware experience, ideally working on a hybrid model with occasional office visits and flexibility for remote work. The role requires proficiency in Statement of Work (SOW) and managing professional services agreements.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Developing commodity strategies
- Consulting with internal stakeholders for best and sustainable solutions
- Leading terms and conditions and price negotiations
- Managing corporate services sub-commodities including Engineering, HR, Marketing, Treasury, Legal, Audit, Travel, and Company Car Program
- Leading global team meetings with users to ensure service levels
- Driving user satisfaction and adoption
- Developing commodity strategies and supplier portfolios
- Ensuring appropriate supplier management
- Achieving defined cost reduction targets
- Having a good understanding of the relevant legal framework
- Operating independently
- Managing internal clients and suppliers
- Monitoring and assessing supplier performance
- Evaluating and responding to changes in global market developments
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience in global purchasing activities for the specified commodities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Team player with strong performance in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Demonstrated leadership within cross-functional teams, decision-making, and creative thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
PREFERRED
- Prior experience leading projects and project teams
- Bachelor's Degree
- CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) certification
