Responsibilities
- Drive adoption of DxRM blood typing reagents and antibody products at IVD manufacturers, instrument integrators, blood grouping kit developers, and regulated reagent CMOs through consultative, solution-focused engagement.
- Engage with R&D, Assay Development, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Operations stakeholders at customer organizations to define technical requirements, identify programmatic risks, and propose technically sound and commercially viable solutions.
- Provide authoritative technical guidance on blood group serology and immunohematology, including ABO, RhD, extended Rh, Kell, Kidd, Duffy, and MNS systems, as well as antibody selection and specificity.
- Develop and deliver high-impact technical presentations, seminars, product demonstrations, and training for customers, conference audiences, and internal Sales colleagues to build awareness and scientific credibility for DxRM's portfolio.
- Maintain high-quality SFDC records, including opportunity details, stage progression, forecasts, customer interaction logs, and portfolio status updates, in alignment with global and regional pipeline management expectations.
- Build account plans, prioritize high-value opportunities, and support contract, pricing, and custom supply agreement negotiations for blood typing and antibody portfolio.
- Act as a primary interface between customers and internal functions, including Product Management, Marketing, Quality/Regulatory, and Supply Chain, to communicate portfolio requirements, timelines, regulatory constraints, and risk factors for custom projects.
- Contribute to the harmonization of customer engagement frameworks, scientific communication standards, and best practices across regions, in alignment with direction from the Head of DxRM Sales Specialists.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Immunohematology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related Life Science field, and brings 5 or more years of experience in blood banking, transfusion medicine, immunohematology, Custom antibody development, or a closely related technical or commercial role within the diagnostics or life science industry.
- Candidates must have experience in technical or commercially oriented roles supporting IVD/diagnostic reagent customers, OEM reagent manufacturers, blood typing instrument companies, or regulated CMO customers, along with a proven ability to engage credibly and consultatively with laboratory directors, transfusion medicine specialists, reagent development scientists, and commercial and operations stakeholders at customer organizations.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, preferably SFDC, for opportunity management, pipeline forecasting, and activity reporting is required, as is the ability and willingness to travel internationally up to approximately 40–50%.
Qualifications
- Deep, demonstrable expertise in blood group serology, including ABO, RhD, and extended antigen typing systems, antibody identification, and the technical principles underpinning blood typing reagent design and performance.
- A Master’s Degree, PhD, or professional certification in Immunohematology, Transfusion Medicine, Immunology, or a related discipline is preferred, as is experience in the development or manufacture of blood grouping reagents or antibody raw materials in regulated environments.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Product Management, Marketing, Quality/Regulatory, and Supply Chain partners in a global matrix organization are highly valued.
- Excellent communication, scientific presentation, and commercial negotiation skills are essential; fluency in English is required.

Pay
Pay Range for this position: $94,700 - $170,500
Schedule
This is a global role, home-office and remote based, with regular international travel to customer sites, internal business reviews, scientific conferences, and industry events as required, with up to approximately 40–50% travel depending on business need.
