Global Banking & Markets - Private -Dallas-Analyst-Loan Management

Job Responsibilities

• Oversight and/or direct management of a diverse portfolio of structured corporate loans collateralized by residential real estate or mortgages
• Preparation and update of monthly reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders
• Aid in negotiation of loan agreements and associated documents
• Aid the trading desk and Investment Banking Division (IBD) in platform diligence related to prospective clients and on behalf of the firm and existing lenders
• Monitoring and validation of loan facility collateralization (including credit enhancement and performance testing) and adjustments relative to market pricing
• Coordination of requests for additional leverage/payment activity between clients and internal stakeholders
• Tracking key deliverables and financial metrics under the financing documents
• Effectively capturing, analyzing, and presenting portfolio trends quantifying risks and opportunities to various internal stakeholders
• Participation and partnership with Technology to support automation and big data initiatives
• Maintaining systems for tracking projects and communicating results to different business groups
• Monitoring business plan performance, making appropriate tactical and strategic recommendations
• Effective communication and demonstration of strong organizational skills in a high-paced environment

Basic Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (clear, concise, and confident) with the ability to manage internal and external relationships
• Experience interacting with clients, property managers, and third-party vendors
• Mortgage banking or other financial industry experience required
• Solid analytical/logical mindset and attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Ability to prioritize workload, manage deadlines, and expectations, work extended hours as required
• Demonstration of leadership skills and promotion of a positive environment and motivation of others
