Responsibilities

• Global Operations & Transformation Projects Team Leadership: Directly manage a dedicated team of four AP professionals.
• Matrix Oversight: Provide guidance and operational leadership to international accounting groups via dotted‑line reporting relationships.
• Regional AP & T&E Management: Manage full‑cycle AP workflows for the US, Europe, and Asia, and oversee the global Travel and Expense program with SAP Concur.
• P2P Continuous Improvement: Partner with Lean Six Sigma Black Belts on a Procure‑to‑Pay project to map workflows, remove bottlenecks, and identify automation opportunities.
• Systems Upgrades: Drive business requirements and user testing for a global AP invoice system upgrade.
• Process Standardization: Streamline and globalize vendor onboarding, master data management, and invoice processing operations.
• Executive Visibility: Prepare and present comprehensive AP performance packages and cash‑outflow forecasts to the ELT regularly.
• Working Capital Optimization: Develop global strategies to optimize cash outflows and improve Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) metrics.
• Policy Enforcement: Implement, communicate, and enforce the global “No PO, No Pay” compliance policy.
• Procurement Alignment: Collaborate with Procurement teams to resolve invoice‑to‑PO discrepancies and ensure smooth three‑way matching.
• Internal Collaboration: Cultivate deep relationships with corporate functions to handle payment inquiries with patient, diplomatic service.
• Vendor Relations: Serve as the final escalation point for global strategic vendors, ensuring timely issue resolution and favorable payment terms.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills & Systems: Deep functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA AP; hands‑on experience with X‑Suite or similar advanced AP automation/OCR platforms preferred.
• Analytical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in DPO calculations, cash‑flow charting, and P2P metric reporting.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive corporate AP experience, including at least 3 years leading complex system upgrades or global transformation initiatives.
• Team Management: Proven experience managing direct reports and collaborating with dotted‑line international teams.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• Soft Skills: Outstanding emotional intelligence, exceptional patience with cross‑functional stakeholders, and an analytical, bottleneck‑breaking mindset.
