Glazier Trainee

Responsibilities

• Installing flat glass products such as windows, doors, storefront glass, mirrors, shower enclosures, tabletops, and other glass-related products
• Performing glass repairs and replacements
• Learning to cut and fabricate glass for custom projects
• Taking accurate measurements to ensure proper fit and installation
• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
• Providing outstanding customer service on every job
• Explaining recommended services and solutions to customers
• Identifying additional opportunities to assist customers with their glass needs
• Collecting payment and completing required documentation when necessary

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to be insured under the company policy
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently
• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and at varying heights
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and digital software
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Previous construction, installation, or trade experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation

Pay ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
