Glazier - Installer

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with the lead Glazier/foreman about issues and needs.
• Aid in the installation of security glass in detention and commercial hollow metal windows, doors, and other structures according to specifications.
• Apply caulking and sealants to ensure airtight and watertight installations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Knowledge And Skills Required

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Caulking experience is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with hand tools used in glass installation and repair

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• This job requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required such as walking, standing, stooping, and climbing.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (8 hours), Overtime and weekends as needed

Licenses/Certifications/Legal Requirements

• Driver's License: Clean driving record required, no DUI’s
• Clean criminal history (no felonies)
• Must be able to pass regular drug screenings
• OSHA 30 preferred
