As a Glazier and Flat Glass Installer, you’ll assist residential and business customers, often during urgent situations, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install flat glass products for doors, storefronts, windows, showers, mirrors, tabletops, and other glass-related items.
• Perform repairs as necessary.
• Cut glass to size for custom projects.
• Take precise measurements to ensure materials meet specified dimensions.
• Evaluate the customer’s home or business to identify additional needs.
• Explain services clearly to put customers at ease and resolve their issues.
• Collect payment from customers for completed work.

Requirements

• One year or more of glass installation experience; glass cutting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tools of the trade.
• Must be insurable with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to drive a company vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. independently.
• Comfortable working with heights, ladders, and lifts.
• Comfortable using mobile technology and digital software.
• Verification of prior job experience via reference checks.

This role is not suitable if you:

• Accept measurements that are “close enough” — precision to a fraction of an inch is required.
• Do not treat broken glass as an emergency or safety issue for customers.
• Consider Monday mornings or scheduled shifts optional — reliability is critical.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on your level of experience as a glazier and flat glass installer.
