GLAZE PREP OPERATOR C - Shift

About the role

Dal‑Tile, the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States and a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Glaze Line Operator to join its manufacturing team. The position involves operating the glaze line and inspecting tile as part of the ceramic tile manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Produce glaze and paste by transporting, weighing, and mixing appropriate ingredients.
• Load and unload ball mills.
• Monitor glaze and paste levels on production lines.
• Create samples and perform quality‑control checks.
• Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to the supervisor.
• Follow standard operating procedures, ISO operating procedures, and control plans.
• Adhere to Environmental, Safety & Health procedures and requirements.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing/production experience preferred.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.

• Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts; occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
• Exposure to a wide range of temperatures; noise level usually loud.
