Glaucoma Surgeon | St. Louis

About the role

EyeCare Partners is the nation’s leading provider of clinically integrated eye care, with a national network of over 300 ophthalmologists and 700 optometrists across 650+ affiliated practice locations in 18 states and 80 markets. Ophthalmology Consultants, an EyeCare Partners practice, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible, fellowship-trained Glaucoma Surgeon to join an established and growing ophthalmology practice in St. Louis, Missouri. This is a high-volume glaucoma practice with immediate clinical and surgical demand, an established patient base, and a strong regional referral network.

Responsibilities

• Build a busy medical and surgical glaucoma practice
• Manage immediate medical and surgical glaucoma volume
• Perform advanced medical and surgical glaucoma cases, including MIGS and traditional glaucoma procedures
• Provide cataract surgery and co-management
• Collaborate with a team of ophthalmologists and optometrists
• Leverage an established patient and referral base, including a strong regional network of referring optometrists and physicians
• Utilize experienced technicians and clinical support staff within an efficient clinical and surgical infrastructure
• Pursue leadership and mentorship opportunities
• Contribute to continued practice growth and development of glaucoma services throughout the region

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Fellowship-trained in Glaucoma
