Glass Production Day Shift Team Member

About the role

Viracon is continuously hiring entry-level Production Associates to support their day shift operations in Owatonna, MN. The pay range is $18.95 – $20.55/hr.

What You’ll Do

• Support manufacturing operations by assisting with workstation setup, loading and unloading materials, cutting, assembling, and inspecting glass products.
• Work as part of a team to ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and meets quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

This is an entry-level role. No prior manufacturing experience is required. Candidates should be dependable, able to work a day shift schedule, follow instructions, and work safely in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs is required.

Hiring Criteria

• To be considered for direct hire, candidates must meet one of the following:
• Minimum of 6 months of continuous employment with a single employer within the past 3 years (1 year preferred).
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Completion of at least 6 months of college, technical, or vocational education within the past 12 months.
• Military service within the past 5 years with an honorable discharge.
• Diploma of high school or equivalent obtained within the past 12 months.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana.
• Ability to safely lift 50–60 lbs on a regular basis.
