Glass Handler Night Shift
Job Description
Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Shift: M-F 6PM to 6 AM
- Safety and quality conscious
- Good attendance – willing and able to work overtime (short time could also occur)
- Simple arithmetic skills/able to read a ruler
- Able to read and understand a schedule/enter data into computer for cutter
- Strong attention to detail
- Work well with others as part of a team
- Read a tape measure
- Knowledge on machines and able to setup programming
- Handle material and oversee quality checks
- Good organization and communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Reading and understanding blueprints and work orders to be processed
- Fast-paced work/able to do multiple tasks
- Good problem-solving skills
- Willing and able to cross-train and fill in for leads in other areas as necessary
- Adhere to Site Wide Safety Protocols and Requirements (Personal Protective equipment is mandatory)
- Strong attention to detail
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Preferably with experience in manufacturing
- Preferably with experience reading a tape measure
