Gladstan Grill Manager

Duties

• Supervises, schedules, and trains restaurant employees.
• Orders food and supplies to ensure there is always an adequate supply on hand.
• Operates a variety of specialized food service equipment, i.e. drink dispenser, electric grill, deep fat fryer, beverage cart, etc.
• Prepares, cooks and serves menu items.
• Suggests menu additions, deletions, and prices changes to the Golf Pro.
• Ensures compliance with Health Department regulations.
• Ensures compliance with State liquor laws.
• Responsible for cleaning and general maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment.
• Understands cash register operations and is capable to teach cash handling principles.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One year experience in the food service industry.
• Licenses/Certifications: A valid driver's license. Must possess a valid food handlers permit from Utah County.
• Special Requirements: Must be bondable. Must be 21 years old.

Knowledge of

• Accounting and mathematics;
• Food preparation and creating menus.

Physical Demands

• While performing this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, and talk to hear.
• The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions

• The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts or in outside weather conditions.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to wet/and or humid conditions, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office, or moderately noisy when in the field.
