About the Role
The GitLab Administrator will support mission requirements by developing, integrating, and sustaining a scalable, federated data ecosystem for a Department of Defense customer. This role is pivotal in enhancing interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics by enabling real-time information sharing and dynamic data integration among diverse partners.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain GitLab repositories for version control, code collaboration, and tracking changes to scripts, documentation, and system configurations.
- Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure authorized repository access and modifications.
- Submit GitLab Access & Security Compliance Reports documenting repository management, user access controls, and security policies.
Requirements
- Knowledge and ability to administer, maintain, and optimize GitLab for version control, repository management, and secure DevSecOps workflows.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline configuration, access control management, and code repository best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and automation skills to support software development teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field; or five years of equivalent experience in GitLab administration.
- Experience managing Git repositories, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure DevSecOps integration.
- Experience with access control policies, automated testing frameworks, and software configuration management.
- Preferred but not required: GitLab Certified Associate or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Pay
USD 79,451 – USD 165,013 yearly
