About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge GIS projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the advancement of geographic information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain GIS software applications using Python, JavaScript, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, data scientists, and other developers to design and implement GIS solutions.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS platforms.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Geospatial Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and related GIS programming languages.
  • Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with GIS data analysis and spatial modeling.
  • Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
  • Understanding of geospatial data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with web mapping technologies and APIs.

Skills

  • Python programming skills.
  • JavaScript and related front-end technologies.
  • Experience with GIS libraries and frameworks.
  • Good understanding of geospatial concepts and data models.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Pay
