Description
The GIS Analyst for Transmission Vegetation Management is a highly specialized role that provides essential geospatial and analytical support to ***’s Transmission Vegetation Management operations. This position is integral to ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective delivery of electric power by enabling informed decision-making through advanced data analysis and geospatial technologies.
- Responsible for pulling and analyzing GIS data to define the scope of work for field operations.
- Performs complex spatial analyses to deliver actionable insights.
- Maintains the integrity of geospatial datasets through rigorous updates and adherence to established data standards.
- Ensures accuracy and consistency in data to safeguard the reliability of work execution systems that operational teams depend on for planning and compliance.
- Provides technical expertise in querying and reporting data using SQL.
- Performs ad-hoc analysis to address evolving business needs.
- Leverages Python for workflow automation to enable process efficiencies and reduce manual effort.
- Uses industry-standard tools such as ArcGIS, ArcMap, and geoprocessing technologies.
- Integrates data visualization techniques to communicate insights effectively.

Pay
Pay: $32.50 - $37.50/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
