Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for individual and team success.
• Demonstrate behaviors leading to socially acceptable character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride of accomplishment.
• Upgrade knowledge and skills through coaching clinics, observations, consultation, etc.

Qualifications

• Ability to organize and supervise a High School Volleyball Program.
• Previous successful coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the technical aspects of Volleyball.
• Appropriate role model for student athletes through instructions and actions.
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Thorough knowledge of all athletic policies of Exeter High School.
• Knowledge of existing NFHS and NHIAA regulations.
• Understand proper administrative line of command and refer all requests or grievances through proper channels.
• Awareness of all public/staff/departmental meetings requiring attendance.

Administrative Duties

• Assist athletic director in scheduling, providing transportation and requirements for tournament and special sport events.
• Assist in necessary preparation for scheduled sport events or practices and adhere to scheduled facility times.

Student Responsibilities

• Mentor each athlete to promote the development and demonstration of character traits of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.
• Constantly monitor student athletes' grades and conduct.
• Provide assistance, guidance, and safeguarding for each participant by being present at all practices, games, and while traveling.
