Girls Basketball Coach - Varsity Assistant

About the role

The Assistant Girls Basketball Coach at Ocean Lakes High School will support the head coach in developing and implementing the team's strategy, training players, and managing team logistics.

Responsibilities

• Support the head coach in planning and executing game strategies
• Work with the head coach to develop and implement training programs for players
• Manage team travel and scheduling
• Attend games and practices to provide support and guidance
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance team performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or related field
• Experience coaching high school basketball
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Passion for high school athletics and commitment to student development

Skills

• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
