Girls' Assistant Soccer Coach, Green Run HS

About the role

The Girls' Assistant Soccer Coach will support the Head Coach in all aspects of the team's operations, including game preparation, player development, and team management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in game planning and strategy discussions
• Support the Head Coach in recruiting and retaining players
• Manage team logistics, including travel arrangements and equipment maintenance
• Work closely with the Athletic Department to ensure compliance with all regulations
• Attend all home games and away matches

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of coaching experience at the high school level
• Experience with youth soccer development
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of high school sports rules and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks

• Strong understanding of soccer techniques and tactics
