OTHRVolunteer

Description

Want to make a direct impact in a girl’s life without taking on the full responsibility of leading a troop? A Girl Experience Volunteer is a flexible, hands-on role that helps Girl Scout troop leaders create fun, meaningful experiences for girls.

Volunteers might help with activities during meetings, lead a craft or game, assist with badge work, organize supplies, support troop communication, or simply be an extra set of hands so meetings run smoothly. You don’t need to be an expert in Girl Scouts—just someone who enjoys encouraging kids, building confidence, and helping create a positive experience.

This is a great role for adults who want to get involved in their community, support local girls, and be part of something fun and meaningful.

  • Flexible opportunity based on your availability
  • Could be a one-time, occasional, or recurring volunteer role
  • Most troop meetings happen on weekday evenings or weekends
  • Opportunities may include helping at troop meetings, outings, or special troop activities
  • Volunteer schedules are coordinated with the local troop leader

About GSHNC

Girl Scouts builds courage, confidence, and character in girls through hands-on experiences, supportive mentors, and opportunities to try new things. We’re looking for caring adults and community partners who want to help girls grow, learn, and lead—whether that means supporting a troop meeting, hosting a field trip, teaching a skill, helping at an event, or opening doors in the community. No previous Girl Scout experience is required—just a willingness to show up, encourage girls, and make a difference.
