Broadway Design is seeking a talented interior designer to join our team for custom residential remodeling projects. This role focuses on creating functional, stylish spaces tailored to the needs of modern families, with an emphasis on kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home furnishings.

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented designer to lead and execute high-end residential renovations in the Gig Harbor area. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with clients to transform their vision into reality, from initial concept through final installation, including paint, millwork, and custom furniture selection.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive design plans for kitchen and bathroom remodels, including space planning, material selection, and custom millwork design.
• Specify and source furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories that align with client lifestyles and project budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, take measurements, and monitor progress during construction.
• Create detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations to communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining clear communication with clients throughout the process.
• Stay current with design trends, materials, and technologies to deliver innovative and timeless solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in residential interior design, with a portfolio showcasing kitchen, bathroom, and whole-home renovations.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and ADA compliance as they relate to residential design.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits and client meetings.
