Gift Shop Attendant (Full-Time) - Philadelphia

About the role

The Gift Shop Attendant is responsible for completing sales transactions with customers and maintaining stock levels in the Gift Shop, ensuring guests have an enjoyable customer service experience. The role is based in a 24/7 high‑energy casino environment where fairness, teamwork, and fun are emphasized; employees may be exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, loud noises, and smoking is permitted.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, courteous atmosphere in the Gift Shop at all times and assist guests whenever necessary.
• Ring up sales and give correct change.
• Keep the Gift Shop clean and orderly.
• Assist with month‑end inventory.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests and others visiting the gift shop.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Retail customer service training would be a plus.
• At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience in a high‑volume retail store with use of an electronic cash register and variety in inventory.
• Experience with soft goods, soft drinks, and snacks inventory.
