About the role

The Bloomington Community Orchard is an organization dedicated to growing fruit for the community and enhancing our orcharding skills through educational opportunities. The orchard is publicly owned and managed by volunteers, with the harvest accessible to everyone in the community.

Responsibilities

• Show up for workdays
• Help carry out discrete projects
• Participate in regular meetings and multiple projects
• Support and direct one-time and multi-time volunteers
• Provide organizational continuity as an involvement coordinator or Board member

Requirements

We are looking for individuals who enjoy working together and contributing to the community. No prior experience is necessary, and there is no additional commitment required for one-time involvement.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule, with weekdays (evenings) and weekends (daytime) commitments. Time commitment varies from 3-10 hours per month, recurring.
