German Translator

About the role

Apply your extensive language skills to translate a wide range of documentation, training materials, and software for Epic, a leader in electronic medical records technology. Your work will contribute to localization efforts, quality assurance, and terminology maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute important translation projects
• Work closely with implementation, technical support, and sales teams to produce innovative software for German-speaking healthcare organizations
• Ensure translations maintain appropriate feeling, tone, and style
• Translate from American English into German

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
• Experience translating from American English into German strongly preferred
• No prior experience with Epic software required, training will be provided

Qualifications

• High degree of autonomy and independence in managing translation projects
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in translation

Skills

• Exceptional language skills in German and English
• Strong understanding of Epic software and healthcare terminology
• Ability to maintain appropriate tone and style in translations
