A German language specialist is needed for a freelance AI trainer project. The successful candidate will work with large-scale language models, focusing on German grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics. Tasks include conversing with the model, verifying factual accuracy and logical soundness, capturing error traces, and suggesting improvements.
- Master's or PhD in German language, linguistics, or a related field
- Peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, or hands-on linguistic analysis projects
- Clear, metacognitive communication skills
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of German language structures and be able to document failures and suggest improvements. No prior AI experience is necessary; training will be provided.
The pay range is $6 to $65 per hour, with final rates determined based on experience, expertise, and location. The project requires a secure computer and high-speed internet, but company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and paid time off are not included.
This project is limited to supported Android device models due to client and system compatibility requirements. Candidates must have an eligible device in-hand and will be required to verify their device before engagement.
