German - Generalist Voice Actor

We're looking for skilled German-speaking voice actors to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping the next generation of AI systems sound natural, expressive, and authentically human. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just a strong German voice, professional delivery, and a sharp ear for quality.

Responsibilities

• Record clear, high-fidelity German audio using provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness, accuracy, tone, and expressiveness
• Provide detailed, constructive feedback to improve synthesized voice quality
• Review and refine scripts as needed to ensure they sound natural and are easy to deliver
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Requirements

• Full fluency in spoken German — native or near-native speakers strongly preferred
• Prior experience in voice acting, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, or comparable audio roles
• Access to professional recording equipment and a quiet, controlled recording environment
• Ability to deliver consistent, engaging, and well-articulated performances
• Naturally detail-oriented with a sharp ear for pronunciation, tone, pacing, and clarity
• No AI or tech background required

Nice to Have

• Experience evaluating or reviewing audio quality in a professional context
• Familiarity with AI voice tools or speech synthesis platforms
• Background in broadcasting, theatre, or multimedia production
• Awareness of regional German dialects and speech variations
