RiverStone Health Clinic is home to the Montana Family Medicine Residency, which provides inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care for more than 18,000 patients each year. About the Role

The ideal candidate feels comfortable with complex multi-morbidity, enjoys working with and advocating for high-risk populations, and is excited to teach principles of geriatric care to the next generation of family physicians. This unique opportunity also includes leadership and development of multiple geriatric initiatives across RiverStone Health, including advance care directives, fall prevention, Medicare annual wellness visits, and comprehensive geriatric assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services to geriatric patients including clinic-based primary care, home health and hospice care, as well as both skilled and long-term care in several local nursing facilities.
  • Teach principles of geriatric care to the next generation of family physicians.
  • Lead and develop multiple geriatric initiatives across RiverStone Health, including advance care directives, fall prevention, Medicare annual wellness visits, and comprehensive geriatric assessment.

Requirements

  • BC/BE Internist or Family Medicine Physician
  • Potential for completion of an accredited geriatric fellowship (preferred but not required)
