Geriatric Physician- Skilled Nursing
About the role
Rochester Regional Health seeks to hire a BE/BC Internal or Family Medicine physician to join their team providing long-term, post-acute, and rehab care in community nursing homes. Geriatric fellows are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with an established group of Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to provide comprehensive coverage for nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
- Engage with Fellows, Residents, and Medical students to foster a dynamic and enriching learning environment.
- Utilize the Epic EMR system for efficient documentation and streamlined patient care.
Requirements
- DO, MD License from the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
- New York State Education Department (NYSED) certification.
- Experience in geriatric medicine is preferred but not required.
- Physical requirements: Light Work - up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly; requires occasional walking, standing or squatting.

$200,000.00 - $250,000.00
