About the role
This role involves expanding healthcare services in local nursing homes and Assisted Living facilities, with a focus on establishing an outpatient Geriatrics practice to serve the aging population.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized geriatric care
- Possibly take on medical directorship roles in skilled nursing facilities
- Teach Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residents based on interest
- Enhance community health services through comprehensive, cost-effective care
- Support resident training and facility operations through leadership and educational duties
Requirements
- Strong background in Geriatrics and primary care
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred
- Leadership and teaching abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
