About the Role
Ascension Living PACE - Michigan is seeking a Geriatric Physician Assistant to join an established team of 2 Physicians and 2 APPs in an outpatient practice caring for a panel of geriatric patients. This is an employed position within a nonprofit health system offering full-time benefits, clinical autonomy, and a collaborative interdisciplinary practice.
The practice model is designed for sustainability with a manageable caseload of approximately 80 patients and a focused daily volume of 2–6 visits, allowing time to build longitudinal relationships. Call structure is 1:5 weeks.
Requirements
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
- Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire
- Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (Master's degree preferred)
- 1 year of experience preferred
