Responsibilities
- Cook up with multidiscipline team to prepare proposals and execute projects.
- Safely coordinate and execute field exploration programs, construction observation, and associated documentation.
- Complete engineering analysis including soil and rock classification; shallow and deep foundation capacity, immediate and consolidation settlement; slope stability analysis, geohazard evaluation, ground improvement, and earth retention systems.
- Partner with internal and external multidisciplinary teams during project development.
- Prepare Geotechnical Engineering reports.
- Prepare construction specifications and drawings.
- Be actively involved during the construction phase of projects.
- Positively interact with client representatives.
- Collaborate with project support staff to monitor and control project to achieve target metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/geotechnical engineering or geology.
- 6-8 years of geotechnical engineering/project management experience.
- Positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge of: MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Experience with geotechnical software packages including L-Pile, Uni-pile, SHAFT, gINT, GRL WEAP, GEO STUDIO, and FAD preferred.
- Clean driving record and the ability to pass a drug test required.
