Geotechnical Numerical Modeler

About the role

The Geotechnical Numerical Modeler is responsible for developing and maintaining numerical models to support geotechnical engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain numerical models using specialized software tools.
• Analyze data from field tests and laboratory experiments to refine model accuracy.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure models meet project requirements and specifications.
• Document model development processes and results for future reference and training purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or numerical modeling.
• Proficiency in at least one geotechnical software package (e.g., FLAC, SAGA).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of geotechnical principles and practices.
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in computer programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QGIS).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
