Geotechnical Intern

About the Role

Whitestone Associates, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned Geotechnical and Environmental consulting firm with offices throughout the eastern United States. This is a fall internship running from September through December, with flexible hours based on your availability and our project needs.

Responsibilities

• Soil laboratory testing and coordination
• Assisting with materials testing in our on-site laboratory
• Geotechnical site research
• Some field construction phase testing and inspection
1i>Assisting with soil boring and/or test pit investigations

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
• Ideally, candidates will have taken and passed a Soils Laboratory class

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $20 USD - $22 USD. Higher compensation may be offered commensurate with experience and qualifications.
