Geotechnical Engineering Intern
for section headings, - for lists,
for prose. No markdown fences. No html/body tags. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove note to external search firms, note to candidates about visa sponsorship? Those are probably boilerplate; we should remove them. Also remove "See our intern experience video here!" maybe not needed? It's a link but no URL given; maybe we can keep as prose? Might be considered not substantive? It's a call to action; maybe we can keep as part of description? The instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The note about visa sponsorship is not exactly those categories but could be considered boilerplate; but it's substantive info about visa sponsorship. Might be relevant. However they said "do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it." The note about visa sponsorship is not minor metadata; it's a condition. Might keep as a paragraph.
We need sections only when posting has real specific content. Sections: About the role? The description includes "Now accepting applications for the summer of 2027! ENGEO 360° is a comprehensive summer internship..." That's about the role. Could be "About the role". Responsibilities? There's "Internship Goals" list. Could be "Responsibilities" or "Internship Goals". Requirements? There's "Field Goals (as scheduled TBD on availability)" etc. That's more like responsibilities. There's also "Structure" describing split time. Could be "Structure". There's "Who We Are And What We Do". Could be "About the company". Benefits? Not explicitly stated except "generous benefit packages" but no specifics. So we should not create Benefits section unless specifics given. Pay? Not given. Schedule? Not given (though mention summer 2027). Not specific schedule details. So we omit Pay, Schedule, Benefits sections.
We need to use
for section headings. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We need to preserve all substantive information, not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep details like field goals, office goals, lab week, events, etc.
Let's parse content:
- Opening: "Now accepting applications for the summer of 2027! ENGEO 360° is a comprehensive summer internship designed for talented university students to explore professional engineering consulting careers within a dynamic and empowering environment. We give our interns real responsibilities that impact projects and add value to our work. Our interns gain experience in the office, laboratory, and field environments. - Who We Are And What We Do: paragraph about company founded 1971, employee-owned firm ~400+ geotechnical and civil engineers, etc. Offices locations. Strive to create positive family-oriented innovative environment. Access to mentorships, international opportunities, fun social events, generous benefit packages. Exposure to wide variety of projects, help serve those around you, drive business success. Fantastic working culture, certified Great Place to Work®, ranked best place to work.
- Note to external search firms: remove (boilerplate). Note to candidates about visa sponsorship: maybe keep? It's a condition but could be considered boilerplate. The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. Visa sponsorship note is not exactly those but could be considered legal? It's about employment visas. Might be considered legal boilerplate. Safer to remove? The instruction: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate". Visa sponsorship note is legal. So remove it.
Also "NOTE TO EXTERNAL SEARCH FIRMS:" remove.
Also "See our intern experience video here!" maybe keep as a sentence but it's a call to action; not substantive? Might be considered promotional but we can keep as prose.
We must not repeat the job title as a heading. The job title is likely "ENGEO 360° Summer Internship". Not present as heading.
We must not put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings.
Now decide sections:
Potential sections:
- About the role (intro paragraph)
- Internship Goals (list)
- Structure (paragraph)
- Field Responsibilities (list) maybe heading "Field Work"
- Office/Design Responsibilities (list) maybe heading "Office Work"
- Laboratory Experience (list) maybe heading "Laboratory"
- Fun & Events (list) maybe heading "Events"
- About ENGEO (company description) maybe heading "About the Company"
We need to ensure we only create sections when there is real specific content. All these have content.
We must use
for each section heading.
Inside sections, we can have
for prose,
- for lists.
We need to avoid duplication.

We could also make a list for lab tests.
Better: - Compaction curves
