About the role

Responsible for designing and overseeing geotechnical projects, including soil and rock analysis, site investigations, and construction monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting site investigations and soil/rock analysis
  • Designing foundation systems and retaining structures
  • Maintaining project schedules and budgets
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices
  • Experience with geotechnical software (e.g., SAP2000, GSI-3D)
  • Understanding of construction materials and their properties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good understanding of environmental impact assessment

Pay

$80,000 - $100,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
