About the role
Responsible for designing and overseeing geotechnical projects, including soil and rock analysis, site investigations, and construction monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Conducting site investigations and soil/rock analysis
- Designing foundation systems and retaining structures
- Maintaining project schedules and budgets
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors
- Ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices
- Experience with geotechnical software (e.g., SAP2000, GSI-3D)
- Understanding of construction materials and their properties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Good understanding of environmental impact assessment

Pay
$80,000 - $100,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
