Job Duties
- Perform geotechnical field investigations, including boring layouts, drilling inspections, and geophysical surveys.
- Cook up and manage the scope of services provided by subcontract drilling firms.
- Classify and test soil samples visually and in the lab.
- Inspect geotechnical sites during construction phases as needed.
- Prepare and review geotechnical engineering reports.
- Write and present geotechnical proposals at client meetings.
- Participate in meetings with design teams, stakeholders, and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- 6 to 10+ years of progressive experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
Salary Range
Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000
