Geotechnical Assistant Staff Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Clearly document site observations for construction materials testing and geotechnical field work
  • Assist with or perform the following tasks with limited supervision:
    • Perform boring and test pit layouts
    • Prepare drilling packages and obtain utility clearances
    • Research local geologic history
    • Auxiliary supervision of field work performed by drilling/test pit crews
    • Resolve rig access issues
    • Perform in-situ testing
    • Classify soils
  • Inform project staff of changing site conditions and additional testing requests
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar
    • No prior experience required
    • Professional license is not required at this time but necessary for career progression
    • If driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is required
    • Military qualifications: E-5 ranks from ECS Group of Companies qualify for this position if they meet the education and licenses requirements from the above section titled "Required Qualifications"
