About the role
The Geospatial Analyst is responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support decision-making processes in various sectors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain geospatial databases and models
- Analyze spatial data to identify trends and patterns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial insights into projects
- Create and present reports and visualizations of geospatial findings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or related field
- At least 2 years of professional experience in geospatial analysis
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of remote sensing techniques and satellite imagery interpretation
- Experience with geographic information systems (GIS)
- Understanding of environmental science principles
