Geospatial Advisor (Part-Time)
About the role
Vantor is seeking a part-time Geospatial AI Consultant to provide strategic technical guidance supporting U.S. Government mission priorities. This role serves as a trusted advisor to government and industry partners, providing expertise in AI/ML data labeling, imagery exploitation tradecraft, and computer vision initiatives across the full lifecycle of research, development, evaluation, and operational deployment. The ideal candidate brings deep GEOINT expertise, broad knowledge of multi-source imagery, and a proven ability to shape technical strategy, advise stakeholders, and advance mission-focused AI capabilities and program execution.
Minimum Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience supporting the US Government in GEOINT, imagery analysis, AI/ML, and computer vision initiatives
- Deep knowledge of GEOINT tradecraft, including imagery analysis, TCPED, automated target detection and identification, data conditioning, AI/ML workflows, and model evaluation
- Advanced expertise in geospatial AI/ML, computer vision, imagery annotation, and data labeling across Electro-Optical (EO), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Full Motion Video (FMV), and other geospatial sensor modalities
- Demonstrated success shaping customer requirements, influencing technical roadmaps, and advising government and program leadership on AI/ML and computer vision capabilities
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with executive, customer, and technical audiences
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a CI poly
Pay
$150,000.00 - $165,000.00 (base pay for California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area, and all other states)
