About This Role
Happy Haven Childcare is a Quality Rated childcare facility in Lilburn GA. Happy Haven Childcare is looking to hire on a Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher with the opportunity to continue on in our summer transition program during the summer months of June-July 2026.
Duties
- Following and implementing lesson plans
- Doing assessments on children in the classroom
- WSO (Work Sample Observation)
- Attending mandatory training (in-person & online)
- Communicating with parents
- Maintaining the cleanliness, health, and safety of the classroom environment
Requirements
- MUST HAVE a GaPSC Certification, T4 or T5 (or higher), or ECE or ECE-Related Bachelors Degree or Higher or Associates Degree
- Confident individual with strong classroom management skills
- Can lead a classroom of 20 children with the help of a classroom assistant teacher
- Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience
- PREFERABLY a T4 or T5 certificate
- Familiar with GA-PREK rules and standards
- Familiarity with WSO
Pay
Salary range will be based on current State Salary Schedule for Georgia’s Pre-K Lead Teachers 2025-2026
